usually these kinds of scenes are either incredibly cringy or incredibly goofy, which is exactly how it started. then in the middle, as someone who has never seen this anime before, it might get hentai-level serious and I was invested. then it got funny AND still investing and I enjoyed myself anyway. it's a slow clap from me
