Barely. Bulma was a teenager who skipped school and made bad decisions, their relationship may have lasted a while but was rocky at best and then Vegeta happened.

Yes Yamcha and Bulma were an on again off again kind of couple but the love was there. Don't ever forget how heartbroken she was when he died in the " Saiyan Saga." Even when they break up for good and she ends up with Vegeta her and Yamcha always remain very close friends. In fact Yamcha was the one who comforted her when Vegeta died against Majin Buu.
