Kirino is "100% tsun 0% dere". There's no chance her brocon will be revealed before Kyousuke falls in love with Ruri/Kuroneko. The only other options would be Kyousuke x Ayase (she hates him), Kyousuke x Manami (he's completely platonic with her).
So, yeah, Kuroneko really has no competition.

And if you refer to episode I think you're referring to, then remember... At the end, Kirino manage to make the girl fall in love with her. And it appears that the so-called girl loved her since the beginning.
Which means that turning her brother into a siscon, acting shy with others otakus to have a reason to make him carry on her...

I'm with ya, I've read the novel up to volume 3 in Korean, (bought up to 6, just need to read them), and I agree, If you read the original work, there are hints that show that Kirino DOES have some feelings for her brother.
A lot of them got CUT for the anime, cuz it was just too much for TV (which you have kids watching, lol).
A good example was when Ayase found out, and how Kyousuke says "I really like my sister!!", then the girls become friends again, and at the end (during credit rolling for the anime), Kirino just says some shit to him, but in the novel, she's like:
"..did you mean it when you said that...?"
"Sa...say what..?"
"When you shouted.. that you... like me.."
"Uh...Um, that's.."
"I... I think I like you too onii-chan.."
"Wha..!!!! I, I!!!"
"Hahahaha!! Ba~~ka~! Did you actually think I'd like you?! Hahaha!"
