| Description: | I recently replied to a user and marked it as a notice. It was listed in my outbox, but I noticed a few hours later it is not there. I'm not sure if the user has received my message. |

| Only site staff can send mod notices. If you check that box and you are not site staff, the message will not be sent. |

| I see. I thought it was a normal user option to alert someone about getting mail. I wonder how many others may have made the same mistake. As a site improvement suggestion, I think the text should say "Mark this in user inbox as notice (Staff option only)" or something like that. |

| All mail always alerts the recipient with a green message at the top of the page that blocks the user from performing certain actions until the message is read. |
