Due to Idolmaster's enormous popularity, Sony decided to provide Playstation 3 owners a Amami Haruka skin for their avatars on the online Playstation Home. As opposed to the cute normal Haruka, the resulting skin was widely considered to be creepy and disturbing due to the unnatural facial expression the skin had. It became a running joke among Idolmaster fans and Home Haruka is often considered to be separate from regular Haruka much like how Sader (the infamously off model figure of Saber) is considered to be separate from regular Saber. Miku Miku Dance users have created a Home Haruka model that is generally used to either disturb the viewers or in surreal comedy videos.
