She is one of the main characters of K-ON!. She is the youngest of the main girls and has a twintail hairstyle. Like Mio, she tries, often unsuccessfully, to get the other girls to focus on their music practice. She comes from a musical family, and because of this, she already has plenty of musical experience. Although she often gets frustrated with the other girls, she cares about them deeply, and she often broods about the older girls' impending graduation. She also tans quite easily and is in the same class as and friends with Hirasawa Ui and Suzuki Jun. Yui is very fond of hugging her and affectionately refers to her as Azunyan. She is voiced by Taketatsu_Ayana, her breakthrough role as a seiyuu.
