Now Viewing: ogure_maikoTag type: Character A bespectacled red eyed teen girl with short hair from Kill La Kill. She is Mako and Ryuuko's homeroom classmate. Ryuuko meets her for the first time while going to school during an event when all zero star students must brave a gauntlet and get to their homeroom class on time or risk being expelled. Maiko is handicapped, with one of her arms completely bandaged up. This severely hinders her ability to get past the numerous traps laid around the school but Ryuuko decides to help her out, even though this slows her and Mako down, after seeing Maiko's determination. However, Maiko is really after Senketsu and deliberately tries to get on Ryuuko's good side so that she can get her hands on the unique school uniform. Both of her arms are completely healthy and the bandage and 'determined' personality was just a ruse to get Ryuuko's sympathy. Maiko is also the one responsible for all of the traps hidden throughout the school as she is the head of the disciplinary committee's trap development. She works under Gamagouri Ira. She is genuinely a zero star student and has no special powers. She resents her low status and plans to overthrow Kiryuuin Satsuki for purely selfish reasons; she wants to be the one on top and enjoy all the perks that Kiryuuin enjoys. Although she is clever enough to come up with a wide variety of death traps, her open declaration of her true motives contributes to her undoing. She also proves to be quite cowardly when pitted against someone who can defeat her and is reduced to pleading for mercy in such situations. She is voiced by Inoue_Marina.
