She debuted in Triangle_Heart_3 and is the sweet younger sister of the visual novel's hero, Takamachi Kyouya. owever, she is most well known for being the heroine of the visual novel's more popular anime spinoff, Mahou_Shoujo_Lyrical_Nanoha franchise. She has orange hair and wears her hair as twintails. She is an optimistic and cheerful young girl. She is also very responsible for her age and her family allows her to handle a lot of things by herself. She is a friendly girl who shows empathy even towards her enemies. Often, she will try to talk to her enemies, attempting to get them to explain their motives and solve things diplomatically. However, it's common for the antagonists to not listen and she will often resort to using her formidable magic powers to non-lethally defeat them, a process often jokingly dubbed by fans as 'befriending.' She has made many of her friends using some variation of the above process. She accepts her role, and the responsibility it requires, as a magical girl quite quickly soon after she meets Yuuno and seems quite happy being a magical girl as she never doubts her abilities nor does she ever express a desire to be 'normal.' Although she is a upbeat girl in the main series, the manga adaptation/companion piece of the first Nanoha movie portrays her as a more troubled person. She is extremely close with Fate Testarossa, one of the first friends she made using the aforementioned befriending method. Their relationship is so close that their relationship is interpreted by many fans as being more than platonic. The anime staff have mostly sidestepped the issue of whether or not Nanoha and Fate are lovers, but their seiyuus believe them to be a couple. She is often referred to as a 'White Devil.' A nickname that is carried over from Mobile Suit Gundam and was inspired by a famous scene in Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha A's. This nickname has also inspired a popular alternate fan interpretation, that frequently appears in fan-art, of Nanoha as a very bloodthirsty and aggressive magical girl. She also won the 2005 Anime Saimoe Tournament. She was originally voiced by Hokuto_Minami in Triangle Heart 3. Hokuto also performed the theme song for the Lyrical Nanoha prototype short story in Lyrical Toybox. When Lyrical Nanoha was turned into an anime TV series, Nanoha was recast as Tamura_Yukari, who typically sings the ending themes for the franchise as well as insert songs related to Nanoha. Due to the anime's popularity, the character is more often associated with Tamura and is one of her most famous and long-running roles.
