The assistant may be performing some sort of sexual act separately, as long as it isn't being performed on the rape victim he/she is assisting in the rape of. If the assistant is directly participating in a sexual act with the victim at the same time, it is only group_sex (and possibly threesome) and not this. If he/she performs sexual acts on the victim at a different time, such as before or after the assisted rape (in a situation where time is passing, such as with animated works or with manga with multiple panels), this tag can still apply to the time that is not the case.
