It was animated by Studio Deen in five minute episodes, shown on mobile phones and the internet. The main storyline involves World War I and II, but many of the "side" strips are set in the modern day. The main characters of Axis Powers Hetalia are the Axis and Allied powers of World War I and World War II, but there are many other nations as well. Note when tagging: characters are tagged with their nation name, followed by _(hetalia). EX: japan_(hetalia). The newest seasons use the title "Hetalia: World Series", but the axis_powers_hetalia tag should still be used.
