Now Viewing: bonta-kunTag type: Character A tall big-eyed bear mascot that wears a green hat, a red bowtie and has spots on its body. It is a mascot of the main characters' local theme park. Whoever is wearing the Bonta-kun suit is only capable of saying variations of the cute noise "Fumoffu!" It primarily appears in the more comedic Full Metal Panic story-lines like those featured in Full Metal Panic Fumoffu! When Sousuke puts on the suit, Bonta-kun gains a fiercer facial expression and a scar on its face reflecting Sousuke's personality. Sousuke becomes surprisingly interested in the mascot and is inspired to transform the suit into a sort of miniature mecha, which turns out to be quite useful in combat. Bonta-kun is also playable in the Super Robot Wars games where Full Metal Panic! is represented. Bonta-kun is voiced by Kaneda_Tomoko. FMP! creator Gatoh Shouji's next series Amagi_Brilliant_Park features a character who looks nearly identical to Bonta-kun called Moffle, Moffle is often derided by other characters as a ripoff, which he does not take kindly to. Although Moffle looks virtually the same as Bonta-kun, he is capable of speech, has his own personality, and is voiced by a different seiyuu.
