It was directed by Asai Yoshiyuki, written by Shimokura Vio (who created the series' concept) from Nitro+, and Kakihara Yuuko, and scored by Kitagawa Katsutoshi of the pop group Round Table. The characters were designed by Enami_Katsumi. The series follows a pair of hitmen: Kurusu Kazuki and Suwa Rei. Kazuki is the brains of the duo, coming up with the plans and logistics for their hits, and does all the housekeeping when the duo return from work. Suwa is the muscle of the group, an exceptionally skilled gunslinger and brawler. While he's professional at work, when he returns home, he stays inside and plays video games until the next job comes along. In spite of their opposing personalities, the two are a successful duo. One day, they are assigned to assassinate a man who is believed to be a human trafficker, but the job goes off the rails once they encounter a four year old girl named Unasaka Miri. The two of them are unable to shake off the girl who gets dragged into the crossfire of their work, but the two manage to complete the job, only to discover that their target was actually Miri's biological father and Miri arrived at their location in order to meet him for the first time. To make things more awkward, Miri now believes that Kazuki is her biological father based off of some comments he made during the job. Now, the two assassins are faced with their most unusual job: to act as Miri's father figures while balancing their regular work as hitmen. The series's concept was inspired by the staff members' relationships with their own children and the popular American family comedy Full House.
