Now Viewing: kotobuki_tsumugiTag type: Character Mugi is the keyboard player of the band in K-ON. She is notable for her lighter hair and large eyebrows, which often turn upside down. She is the quietest member of the main cast, but is a kind and gentle girl. Despite this, she likes to play along with whatever mischief Ritsu and Yui are up to to Mio and later Azusa's exasperation. She is extremely wealthy and has probably lived a sheltered life since she shows fascination at things her friends take for granted like fast food and pillow fights. She is also the main supplier of food, tea, and sweets of the band. She seems to like physical contact with other girls. She is notably pleased whenever her friends embrace each other and even requests to be hugged and in one episode wants Ritsu to hit her. It is unclear in the series if she's lesbian or just a very physically affectionate straight girl. It's subtle, but she is fairly strong physically, being able to lift heavy objects and carry around her keyboard with no sign of exhaustion. She is voiced by Kotobuki Minako.
