Now Viewing: lie_renTag type: Character A teen boy with black hair with pink highlights. He wears green Chinese clothes. He is the childhood friend of Nora Valkyrie and is one of the members of Team JNPR. Unlike Nora, Ren is very quiet and speaks the least out of all the main characters. He is quite stoic and often listens to Nora's extended ramblings silently and occasionally makes a wisecrack in response to her odd logic. Despite their differences in personality, the two of them are quite close to each other. He is not a morning person and appears barely awake whenever he's forced to get up. In combat, he wields to bladed green guns to shoot and stab the enemy. He is also a proficient fighter even when disarmed and is an expert martial artist. Despite his skill in combat, he has the lowest stamina out of the main characters and collapses after a few hard hits whereas the other characters can shrug off a lot of the damage they take. He is voiced by series creator and animator Monty_Oum. Due to Monty's sudden passing on February 1, 2015, Monty was replaced by one of his brothers, Neath Oum, as Ren's voice for subsequent seasons.
