This rerelease introduces three new characters Yoshizawa Kasumi, Maruki Takuto, and Jose who act as confidants as well as gameplay tweaks and additions. While the game's story is mostly the same as its original release for the early portions of the game albeit with the new characters included, the game includes a substantial amount of new story material in the third semester of the game's year with two of the new characters becoming critically important to the new final story arc. The game also adds a Thieves Den, a palace that the player can customize to their liking.
