It started off as an one-shot released in December 2020, and became a serialized manga on June 13, 2022. It runs in Weekly_Shounen_Jump and is notably different from majority of the manga in said magazine as well as Shindou's previous one-shots in that it is a laid-back coming of age comedy as opposed to an action series. It tells the story of Aoki Ruri, an average teen girl with an introverted streak, who suddenly wakes up to find that she has grown horns on the top of her head. Her mother soon drops the bombshell that Ruri is actually half human/half dragon, with her absent father actually being a dragon, a creature she and almost everyone else thought to only exist in myths. With this sudden development and the changes it brings to her life, Ruri must now learn to adapt to her newly awakened dragon abilities Ruri on top of developing her social life. The manga received a bit of early critical acclaim, ranking first in the Nationwide Bookstore Employees' Recommended Comics of 2023 and ninth in 2024's Takarajimasha's Kono Manga ga Sugoi! list of best manga for male readers.
