Now Viewing: split_tailTag type: General split tail applies to any monster_girl, such as a mermaid or lamia whose legs are fused into a tail, but only starting somewhere below the crotch, leaving the thighs still separated at the top. Usually the legs are fused at some point of the thighs, above the knees. At minimum, there must be enough room to run a string from front to back through the middle. Having an ass or vagina alone isn't enough. This means that images where the monster girl has a visible vulva and or buttocks/anus do not qualify for this tag if there is no crotch gap communicating front and back. Remember: there should be room to run a string from front to back. This is frequently part of an artist's attempt to solve the so-called "mermaid problem." Example of this tag: Dirge.
