A 2nd season, for the anime, was released in the summer of 2012. An OVA titled Yuruyuri Nachu Yachumi! was released in 2014. During a event related to OVA's release a 3rd season was announced to be come in production early 2015. The title of the 3rd season was revealed to be "YuruYuri San Hai!". Season 3 aired in October 2015. Yuru Yuri follows the everyday life of schoolgirls at a fictitious junior high school. The year before the series starts, Toshinou_Kyouko and Funami_Yui take over the former room of the school's Tea Ceremony Club to form the Amusement Club. When Kyouko and Yui's friend Akaza_Akari enters their school, she immediately becomes part of the club. One of Akari's classmates Yoshikawa_Chinatsu also ends up joining the club. Members of the student council often visit the club.
