Now Viewing: eromanga_senseiTag type: Copyright (エロマンガ先生) A popular romantic comedy light novel/anime series written by Fushimi Tsukasa and illustrated by Kanzaki_Hiro, the creators of Ore_no_Imouto_ga_Konna_ni_Kawaii_Wake_ga_nai. This series is also a spiritual successor to said work and takes place in the same universe. Like its predecessor, the series features many jokes pertaining to the otaku subculture, moe female characters, and incestual romantic subtext. The series began on December 10, 2013 and has been adapted into a manga in 2014 and a 2017 anime TV series by A-1 Pictures. The anime is directed by Takeshita Ryohei and written by Takahashi Tatsuya with music by Kikuya Tomoki. Izumi Masamune is a high schooler and light novel writer who, one day, takes in his only remaining family member, Izumi Sagiri. Although he is friendly to her, Sagiri is so shy that soon after they first meet, Sagiri locks herself within her own room and has stayed there for a whole year. During this entire year, Masamune has never seen Sagiri's face but he commits himself to taking care of her and hopes that he can one day coax her to come out and enjoy a normal social life. In the meantime, Masamune balances his school life with his light novel career. He has worked on a fantasy action series called Silverwolf of Reincarnation with the art duties handled by a mysterious masked and very lewd artist named Eromanga Sensei whom he has never met in person. Eromanga Sensei has a strong online presence, maintaining a blog and holding streams, but the two have apparently never met, and all of Eromanga Sensei's work is turned in via the Internet. One day, Masamune inadvertently discovers Eromanga Sensei's true identity when he is watching a livestream and sees a plate of food he gave Sagiri the same day. The realization that Eromanga Sensei was actually Sagiri all along leads to Masamune and Sagiri interacting face-to-face for the first time in a year. As the two of them steadily interact more and more, their relationship grows more complicated, especially as Masamune meets other girls who take an interest in both him and the mysterious Eromanga Sensei. . .
