She is a virtual_youtuber who's part of the second generation of hololive. She debuted on September 16, 2018. She was designed by Shigure_Ui. She is an optimistic and cheerful girl who's one of the most extroverted members of hololive. Like her fellow vtubers, her content consists of streams: video game playthroughs, free talks, and karaoke. She is unique amongst hololive vtubers in that she had little experience with anime/manga/internet culture prior to joining the agency and she got in purely due to her passion. She is notably responsible for starting the trend of referring to Cover Corp CEO, Tanigo Motoaki, as Yagoo due to her misreading his name. She has a raspy voice that's often compared to Donald Duck's, so she's often referred to as a duck despite being completely human, a joke that became so popular that she eventually ran with it, including a duck mascot in her streams and sometimes referring to herself as a duck. In 2021, recognizing the increasing international popularity of hololive, she began practicing English more seriously, including a text box that roughly translates what she says during her streams, and using English whenever she collabs with English speaking vtubers. In hololive's official skits, she often plays the straight man role who points out the absurdity of her fellow vtubers' actions.
