Now Viewing: VshojoTag type: Copyright An English language Virtual_Youtuber agency founded by Justin “theGunrun” Ignacio and Phillip “Mowtendoo” Fortunat on November 24, 2020. Its name is a pun on the Japanese word bishoujo and a reference to Vtubers and describes its cast of all female vtubers. Their content consists of streams hosted on Twitch. The cast is mostly made up of vtubers who have all either had experience as virtual youtubers or streamers and notably includes members who were already popular independent vtubers prior to joining the agency. Unlike many other vtubers in similar situation, the former independents have kept their old personas and style of content and, after redebuting under the VShojo banner and reintroducing themselves with a lore video, picked up where they left off. In 2022, VShojo expanded to include virtual youtubers who primarily stream in languages besides English. Vshojo opened a Japanese branch on July 2, 2022.
