Now Viewing: shiga_harukiTag type: Character 志賀春樹 A black_haired teen boy who wears a school uniform. He is the protagonist and point of view character of Kimi_no_Suizou_wa_tabetai. Although he is the story's protagonist, his name is not revealed until the end of the story. He is an antisocial bookworm who has never had a friend in his life nor has he ever felt the need to have one. He has always rejected invitations and curtly shoots down any attempt to make small talk. This changes after he discovers his classmate Yamauchi Sakura's biggest secret, her impending death from a failing pancreas. Sakura takes an interest in him thanks to his attitude which she finds unusual and refreshing, feeling that she can trust Haruki in a way that she can't with anyone else. Haruki is Sakura's polar opposite in mentality, so he finds her tastes and her way of doing things to be baffling. He initially goes along with Sakura's requests to hang out to humor her, but as he spends more time with her, he begins developing feelings for her that he had never experienced with anyone else. He is voiced by Takasugi_Mahiro. In the live action film, he is played by Kitamura Takumi and Oguri Shun after the time skip.
