It debuted at the Tokyo International Film Festival in October 2007 and was released to the public in December 5, 2007. Its story was conceived by mangaka Tanikawa_Fumiko who later released a manga adaptation of the story and, along with Asano_Kyoji, designed the characters for the anime. It was directed by Shiotani Naoyoshi and written by Ozaki Masaya. The soundtrack was composed by Yanagawa Takeshi. It was also intended to commemorate the 20th anniversary of IG and BMG Japan. The story centers around a couple who individually suffer from deep-seated romantic insecurity, Chizuru and Yuudai. Both of them come from a long string of failed relationships. The former currently fears that her current relationship is about to end the same way, and plans to have one more great date with Yuudai before breaking off the relationship amicably. The latter is unaware of Chizuru's feelings about the relationship and just wants the confidence to make this relationship work by first telling her verbally he loves her. For the upcoming date, he has prepared a special gift for Chizuru, only to find that the gift that he was about to give her is the wrong one. Chizuru's new 'gift' turns out to be a mini-donkey and the donkey's escape from the gift box it was wrapped in sets off a chain of events that will lead the couple to assess their true feelings for each other. The story consists of a single time frame told from two POVs, first from Chizuru, and the second from Yuudai. The OVA received critical acclaim, winning Grand Prize in the Feature Film Category of the 12th Seoul International Cartoon & Animation Festival.
