Now Viewing: okachimachi_(akiba_maid_sensou)Tag type: Character 御徒町 A giant panda who is the animal mascot of Ton Tokoton. It is one of the main recurring cast of Akiba_Maid_Sensou. In spite of Ton Tokoton being a pig themed maid cafe, it has a panda as its main animal attraction. It was taken in by Ton Tokoton's manager and lounges around the cafe, playing around with bamboo. When Ton Tokoton has to do business outside, Okachimachi often silently follows along and helps out the other members in its own way. Okachimachi is actually not a real panda, but a maid in disguise. Okachimachi is actually the maid assassin who murdered Mannen Ranko's beloved former master and contributed to Ranko being set up and thrown into jail for 15 years. Okachimachi stays in the panda costume as a way of going into hiding and nobody knew who she actually was until she decided to come clean to Ranko. Okachimachi, actually a brown-haired woman, has always felt guilty over what happened, but never could muster up the courage to tell Ranko the truth until Ranko is set to go on a date with Suehiro, a male hitman who was hired to dispose of Okachimachi after she pulled off the hit. Okachimachi wants to protect Ranko in her own way, revealing the truth behind Suehiro, her own crime, and the fact that it was Nagi, Ranko's former coworker, who called for Ranko's boss to be assassinated. She is voiced by Hirano Aya who, in order to preserve the reveal, notably wasn't credited until the release of episode 10.
