Now Viewing: nagato_yukiTag type: Character A purple haired girl with a permanent poker face. She is one of the main characters of the Suzumiya Haruhi series. Not to be confused with the male genderswap of the same character, Nagato Yuuki. She appears to be quiet and antisocial bookworm. Despite this, she joins the SOS Brigade with little complaint, but still functions more like an observer leaving Haruhi in control. She is one of the more competent and reliable members of the group, she seems to be able to do almost anything and she often bails out the other members whenever they're stuck in a difficult situation. Although she seems completely emotionless, Kyon gradually learns that Yuki is capable of feeling emotion even if she never shows it on her face. Out of all the SOS Brigade members, Yuki seems to like and trust Kyon the most. In Haruhi chan, Yuki remains mostly stoic, but she is portrayed as more eccentric than usual and as an otaku. She is the star of the spinoff romantic comedy manga Nagato Yuki-chan no Shoushitsu from the same creator as Haruhi-chan, but she is portrayed very differently from her canon self. In that series, she is a normal, if shy and timid teenage girl and is very emotionally expressive. She also wears glasses and needs them because she is nearsighted. She is also in love with Kyon, which everyone else except Kyon himself can see. She, or someone cosplaying as her, makes a cameo in Lucky Star. She is voiced by Minori_Chihara.
